What will this cost for my cover?
The starting (minimum) price is $25. If you want a lot of animation, the price will go up accordingly. For atmospheric motion such as rain or snow or clouds... I'd can do that for $25, and perhaps one minor animation. If I have to recreate what might be behind something (such as background behind a car or your title text), that adds a lot of time to the project. However, if you have access to the psd file, it could save a lot of time. So every case is different.
What if I don’t know what I want animated?
Every cover is different, but if it’s not clear what should be animated, I’m happy to discuss ideas until we come up with a plan. Keeping it simple and subtle is the best way to keep it classy!
What if I don’t like how it turned out?
I’m happy to do minor tweaking once or twice, but hopefully not more than that. This also depends on what we agree to before the project begins.
What format do you need for the cover?
I need a high-resolution cover (jpg, png, pdf) and if you have access to the psd file, that would be very helpful.
I want a girl to get in a car and then drive away- can you do that?
My first answer would be no…but maybe we could just have the car driving away.
One of my missions is to stay as true to the actual cover as possible.
What if someone else made my cover?
Not a problem! Most of my examples (not all) were designed by other artists. The purpose of this animation is not to redesign the cover, but to add visual effects to make it stand out in a more impactful way on your social media platforms.
What if there’s nothing to animate?
There’s always something. Maybe it’s atmospheric…maybe it’s the typography. A lot will depend on your genre and what your end goal is.
How long does this take?
It depends on the current workload...hopefully a few days and not longer than a few weeks.
